Peru-zing
Featuring Lucy the Llama
This past winter I was fortunate enough to visit my family in Peru. Though I've explored parts of Europe, this was my first time in a third-world country. The poverty and inequality that I witnessed was both humbling and eye-opening.

As I traveled through rural Peru, I was surprised to see familiar logos everywhere I went. Literally, everywhere. Plows, bikes and huts. Everywhere I looked I could see a spray painted Nike or Adidas logo. These citizens didn't have phones nor computers yet these brands are so powerful they transcend technology. They impact people everywhere, including the mountains surrounding Machu Picchu. To me, that's amazing. And that's why I want to go into advertising. To touch the lives of people across the world.
